The NJSOpera is the only opera comany, resident or touring, in the state that presents opera productions unabridged in every aspect. The Company specializes in grand opera, with full orchestra, full chorus, internationally acclaimed singers, and full sets, costumes and lighting of the highest professional quality.
Assisted by Opera America, NJSOpera has spent two years instituting new financial and business practices. The success of these efforts has attracted renewed support from historical stakeholders of the Company and the exciting development of substantial financial gifts from overseas benefactors. All believe in the Company’s continued mission to invigorate the cultural life of New Jersey’s communities with Grand Opera, emanating outward from the Company’s primary residence at Newark’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). The Company plans to leverage its financial and artistic assets by partnering with other artistic organizations and artists throughout the State, nationally and internationally.
Just as you rely on us for quality performances, we rely on your support to make our season happen. All donations are tax-deductible, as the NJSOpera is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Individual Donors
You can play a significant role in the growth of the State Opera's productions, education programs, and general operating needs. Your gift can directly make an impact on the effect the State Opera has on audiences, the children of our education programs, and the many generations who hear our regional concerts.
