I believe that the state of New Jersey deserves to have a top-flight grand opera company. The New Jersey State Opera was founded more than 40 years ago with this vision in mind and this highest standard was majestically maintained by the late Maestro Alfredo Silipigni. As the current Music Director, I am charged with preserving the highest standards of operatic productions and taking the NJSOpera onwards and upwards with unique productions featuring local, national and international talent. It is my vision that our company will bring the best of the art form back to the grandest stages in our state.
